Duelist Glove not appearing in inventory

Hi, I'm trying to install this mod: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=327

 

The "Duelists Glove DualWield Style" file.

 

The problem is that the item doesn't appear in the inventory when I start the game. I checked all

the comments and there were others who had this problem, however the mod creators last reply was in 2009,

and it seems he doesn't check the comments anymore.

 

How do I fix this? Is there any other way to add this item, maybe through the console?

 

I tried the other file, "SwordShield", and that one works fine.

Are you talking about a brand-new game with a brand-new character?

 

If so, try this:

 

When starting a new game with patch 1.03 or later, you need to disable/uncheck all your mods that add to inventory. Once your character has loaded you can save, exit and enable/check them again. Item(s) should then appear in inventory.
