Harvald
Hy friend lets begin in the beginning. There a some tools you need for good modding Links to suggested toolsOBSE: http://obse.silverlock.org/OBMM: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097BOSS: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516Wrye Bash: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368additional fine is OBGE: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30054 For a better control panel: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10763and better map markers: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26389 now first my suggest for a new body As a Body mod I would prefer a HGEC body nude (female), (male) because tons of clothing are based on this mod. a good sekeleton for most of the clothing mods is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27945 and a nice skin texture http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20022 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19021 perhaps with this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22870 get a new hairstyles races find yourself if you like. then you probably need a animation replacer http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35551 and now You have a fine person walking through Oblivion. for better athmosphere I suggest If you don't like leveling system try oblivion war cry,( english translation) and only the boss monsters will level up. and a more realistic leveling system Better sound http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39804Basic Primary Needs http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37088bathing mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17190trade and commerce http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39255creature diversivity http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26634Economy adjustment: Enhanced Economy No more psychic guards: Reneers Guard Overhaul Unique Landscapes are great and nearly a musthave there are more clothing mods than I can tellmy personal choice female underwear Sluggo http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22090in clothing is roadstrokers work http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=1281817 slofs mens wear http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=6024hiatkkdfemale clothing Rhyks work http://www.zodiac.o0o0.jp/rayk/ryk_mod_etc.html all not to sexy like some things here, but if you like them better, have a look. for weapons gizmodians work http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=341209 for better looking Horses http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=5p5k6md28n8 my most liked housemod or have a look to Real estate companionmods: Vilja , Saerilet , blade song and a mod I adore but cant really use because its from Japan You personalize your game by taking your favourite mods. No other one plays the same game. Oblivion is in my opinion the most and best modded game in the world. If you mean sex as an adult theme you better look on shy uploader. Best quests you find in hot 100 Don't forget ;) have fun Harvald Edited November 7, 2011 by Harvald
bben46
As mods are very subjective, their really are no must have mods. Everybody likes different things. If everybody wanted the same thing there would only be one mod for each category. Just because I like a mod doesn't mean that you will- or should - like it. Look through the top 100 list first. These are the most popular mods and most of the ones you will like are probably to be found here. If not, there are over 25,000 more where those came from. Now, there are some things you should have no matter what your taste. These are actually utility programs that make it easier or better to work with mods.Be sure to read the instructions as these do not install like mods and if you install them wrong, they will be useless to you. OBMM - Oblivion Mod Manager - needed to change the mod load order, along with many other handy utility functions.Available here: http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm_download.html OBSE - Oblivion Script Extender - Needed for many mods, without it they will not work.Available Here: http://obse.silverlock.org/ BOSS - Better Oblivion Sorting Software - works for Fallout3 & New Vegas also used to auto set load order, not perfect, but close. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516 Wrye Bash - Another Mod Manager- it's compatible with OBMM and they actually complement each other. Harder to learn, but very powerful. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368 Then you will need an unzipping program. I recommend 7-zip. It is absolutely FREE, unlike other popular unzippers such as Winrar - which is a try before you buy and constantly reminds you to pay for it, 7-Zip , available FREE at TesNexus, Here: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15579 Now, some advice, Don't install a bunch of mods at one time. The time you save will be lost trying to find which one is causing the problem. Instead install one mod, start the game and make sure it works before installing another. If there is a problem, fix it before installing another mod. More mods will not make it better and will probably make it worse as well as harder to find out which mod is causing the problem.
