ZeroLambda
Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you had answers... I loaded up a mod in OMOD (specifically speaking, the Sumaki Treasure Chest Mod) that replaced a bunch of the original Ren hairs and whatnot. I thought it was alright, so I let it replace them. But, once I deactivated it, OBMM went in and did it's job (which I, being sort of noob to the program, and just finding out functions) and removed the hair data files and textures. Well, of course I had these on other characters in save-games. So, once I removed the OMOD, the hairs and eyes reverted to vanilla Oblivion styles and colors. I had encountered this sort of thing previously, so I went through and put in the data files again for the mods that were replaced by the OMOD, naturally. I've been having another problem, though. When I try to open the race menu for any of those savegames, the game ends up crashing. I've gone through my data with a fine toothed comb, and made sure everything was back in place. Alas, no luck. So, my question: Can I reset the eyes and hair back to vanilla meshes through the console? This would save my game from trying to pull up a menu that apparently doesn't exist, and allow me to get a hairstyle that was ACTUALLY on the menu to begin with. Then, in theory, be able to open up the race menu screen again, and edit appearance normally. I'd appreciate the help! This has happened to 3 of my save-games so far (I even put in backup saves before I installed the Sumaki OMOD) but this still happens to those as well. I'm guessing it's a cosmetic mod conflict, so maybe I can find a solution to avoid this problem in the future...
