New Mod IN THE MAKING!!!

Current Details!!!

 

Right now this mod has a maybe temporary name!!!

I am currently making the weapons and armor. I will have some pictures of what the weapons look like when I finish a lot of them. The new world is going to be basically a small-medium sized world with towns, villages, and a enourmously huge castle that I already have planned out. I have already made up new guilds/factions. Pictures will be coming soon i hope. This project is going to be big and theres a lot of stuff that I can add to these details. I will be adding a wolf ally. I have thought up a "main quest" and I am currently working on some more weapon meshes.

I am currently taking any ideas right now. I will try to fit as many ideas as offerd as possible into this mod. Also I am looking for another person to help me out. If anyone wants to help me make this mod just tell me. I could probably use a texturer and someone to do voices. I'll need someone that can texture to texture my weapons/armor/clothes/etcetera.

OK well I can and will make all the meshes myself. I have just about completed a sword for this mod. I haven't made any actual published mods with custom meshes/textures. I can't do textures which is why I need someone that can texture. I ONLY need someone that can texture and do voices. My brother is going to write the quests and scripts because he knows how to do that real well. I am very creative and as I have stated somewhere before I CAN make all the meshes just NOT textures.

1st: This mod is actually being worked on and its going real smooth.

2nd: I have played the others that "have done what I want to" and in my opinion I can do a lot better.

3rd: I have thought up something that is actually "do able" and I am sticking to it until its finished.

4th: I got a lot of spare time to actually make this.

5th: I have just finished making a weapon to be textured.

6th: People will like this mod.

7th: Right now I can't think up any more reasons because I'm working on the mod.

8th: In game pictures will come within the next one or two days.

9th: I promise you this mod will get worked on and it will be worth it.

You might want to explain better what you're actually planning to be doing. Drawing up pictures is always nice, but unless you have the ability, or someone with that ability, to make them into meshes, they don't mean much. Basically, what are your skills and abilities? This is important to get across because people don't always know you, and there are people with large mods like this that end up being more along the lines of "make me this mod", when they don't intend to do much else other than dream up things for people to work on. Are you doing interiors, exteriors, scripting, NPCs, AI, coordinating, meshing, texturing, voices, what? Be specific.

 

You might also want to talk a bit more about what makes your mod so unique. There are already mods which are doing what you want to do (or atleast mod attempts). Why would someone want to pick your mod idea over that of anyone else? Can all of the things you want in your mod even be done how you want them? It's one thing to be talking about a general idea, it's another to go through each aspect of that idea and see what will and will not work. While I don't see just a village and castle being much of an issue (provided you know how to use the CS) you're undoubtedly holding back information about your mod which may not be as easily done. Nobody is going to steal your ideas, especially when it comes to large mods. Large mods take way too much time and effort, if they think it's a good idea, people are more likely to join your team than try to do it solo.
