joestracke
Anyone know of any officially released content pertaining to the PC port of this game? Every review, preview, screenshot and video seems to be from a nearly decade-old console system that I've never cared to own...
Kerghan
The official screenshots show the PC version, but all videos are of the 360 version.
anandus
The very first trailer is PC footage, according to Pete Hines.

Xochen
They've said themselves that all of their pictures and some of the video footage is a mix of all 3 systems.

Although today he said:Alright, some clarification. We never lied. Some shots in the initial gameplay trailer were indeed captured on a PC -- using the 360 renderer. They were captured that way for logistical purposes. Essentially, the footage you saw is 360 footage -- or footage of the PC version if you have the graphics sliders at that level, depending on how you look at it. I think the game looks great on 360/PS3. It can look even better on PC if you have a beefy machine due to the advanced graphics options/higher resolution/AA/etc. You guys can be the judge in a few days, but we're not engaging in deception here.source So was made on a PC running 360-settings, I guess. Lt.Wolf
There's no need to worry about the graphics for the PC. Todd has already said several times it'll look much better on the PC, not to mention DX11 in which the consoles are not capable of rendering do to their outdated Hardware that will be coming in a later patch. They have been working on DX11 so its just a matter of time. They have also said that the 360 graphics are pretty much Med and Low slider settings on the PC. Meaning High and Very High will melt your face off. source Edited November 7, 2011 by Lt.Wolf

Todd Howard: Yes, but I guess the real question here is do we take advantage of DX11's big new features and the answer is 'not specifically'. Our graphics work centers around doing things that will look the same regardless of platform, and sometimes that implementation will be different on the 360, PS3, and PC. source * But, if I'm correct, if the same graphics are programmed for DX9 and DX11 they can run faster on DX11, which of course is good. DX11 as an API offers a lot of great tech (not as advanced as OpenGL though, but that's another story), but most of it are simply optimization tools. The only outstanding graphical feature I can think of that Beth *should* include is tessellation, but there's so much detail, it's such a huge world... Tessellation would destroy everybody's framerate, so it's probably best to save it for TES VI.
