Fix for Brass/Spiked/Love and Hate Knuckle meshes for females

The right hand mesh for the brass knuckle type weapons uses the male hand on female characters. On "Love and Hate" it also uses the "crotch" texture for the character, which leads to an awkward looking hand.

I am looking into this. While I've found a fix for the Love and Hate texture issue, I'm having trouble figuring out the mesh issue for the brass knuckle type weapons. Specifically, everything appears to be working as it should for me. The GECK refers to separate files for female and male versions of the mesh, and the respective meshes appear to match the game's default hand meshes.

 

By chance, are you using a modded mesh for female characters? I ask because there is a mesh for the right hand included in the mesh for the brass knuckle type weapons. If this is the case, it could be that this imposter hand is replacing the modded mesh while this type of weapon is equipped.

 

For those with nif editing savvy:

The Love and Hate texture issue can be fixed by changing the string "FemaleRightHand1st" to "RightHand."

 

I don't know if this is worthy of uploading a fixed file in itself (I am fairly new here, so please do let me know), but I am also holding off on uploading anything until I am sure that the right hand mesh issue is fixed.

There's no threshold for a mod to be important enough to upload, so by all means upload it. I, for one, would appreciate it!
