Uninstalling Oblivion

So here's the deal.

 

This is all the result of a faulty system restore. I got a virus, attempted to system restore. Unfortunately, I was in England and had lost my transformer; I couldn't plug the computer in. I didn't realize this until it was too late and it shut down mid-system restore. All my files disappeared. Except they didn't. They're still there, but I can't easily access them. For example, I lost my documents in word, yet if I try to save a new document under the name of an old lost document it tells me that I will be overwriting the old lost document.

 

So yes, I am an idiot, but this is not the issue. xD

 

I went to go play Oblivion -- or fix it, or something -- when I realized I couldn't open the Oblivion Launcher. Every time I tried, I got an error 'APPCRASH'. I could still use OBSE to get into Oblivion, and all the mods were still there. Checked the data folder -- there is no trace of any of the ESM files used to make the mods work. I'm sure they're still there, but I can't see them. Same with textures and meshes -- except they're all there in the game.

 

Mainly, the problem is that I can't open Oblivion Launcher, and I have no idea how to uninstall Oblivion, or activate new mods, or do anything that involves the launcher screen. This didn't happen with Morrowind.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
