Do you want this game to have cheats?

I wants cheats because I can use them to get around bugs. I know I have the willpower not to use them. Here is a scenario:

 

I kill the Lich that has the Jade Key I need. His body falls in lava or the key drops through a whole in the floor tiles. The entire thing happened a month ago when I didn't know he had a key. Now what? The Lich is gone, and the key is gone. Now I can't get the third part of the staff... A month of questing ruined... or was it?

People need to quit calling the damn console "cheats."

 

Its there for debug purposes, and it is commonly required in Bethesta games that are full of bugs.

That woudn't even work...... I think. Cheats are useful when your testing mods or want to lvl up faster with a new character (race mods) sometimes you come across a locked chest and don't have any lockpicks and just ain't in the mood to go find some or used them all things like that happen.

It doesn't matter what you use it for, it matters what it is.

 

The console is not a cheating device. It is meant for debug purposes and is pretty much required in Bethesda games.

I thought this was about cheats not console commands. I mean additem f 1000000 can break the game very easily. Also tgm. I also want the console to be there (in order to remove vampirism lol) but not cheats. I guess tcl is cheating but can help you get out a glitched rock. Or kill command. That can't help you with anything so it should be out.
