Imagine what the reaction would be if he said he didn't want black people in the game. Same thing, folks. To be fair, there aren't really "gay people" in the game. As far as I can tell they pulled a Bioware and everyone's straight, but will go gay for PC if s/he proposes to them. I don't think there're gay couples just scattered through the world. Same answer...if its his/her world, then make it however you want...remove the blacks, or whites, or the elves, etc...make all women blondes,its not really anyones place to judge someone elses imagination and personal little world...the only thing is, said person may need to mod themselves the less and less popular a desire they have for their world. Do I agree with anyones philosophy? no. but I don't condemn people for wanting their little world the way they want it as it harms nobody and makes their personal viewpoint gameplay a bit more to their liking. I simply think though that the ops is going to have an issue finding a pg mod overall. the blood thing seems stupidly easy and if he decides to spend a hour learning the layout, can simply do it himself, but the sexual innuendos and themes..well, that will be a bit tougher. Not sure overall mind you...but if its coded in as a quest or something, it may be hard getting that altered or tossed.the game is meant for 18 plus. where the hell are the parents anyhow?! and...erm, isn't there an age restriction on this forum to begin with? I don't mean no injuries, I just don't want to see blood squirt out of every sward swing, also no oblivion hanging corpses, ect. The Dragnar are fine, so no worries there. I also don't mean get rid of the marriage function just saying no sexual themes by simple things like more covering undergarments. I'd also ask that the cannibalism be limited too like maybe available to a werewolf or a vampire player. I'd be willing to pay for a good mod of that sometimes. I'd have an optional no gay marriage add on to this for some of my christian buddies. Pretty much leave the rest of the game alone. Yes I realize that the game was made with blood in it, but some people like these kind of mods. Others like to add blood or porno; I just don't want that and they can feel free to make and get as much as they want, I don't want to stop anyone from getting what they like. I just hope others have the same respect for this request. Here's a pretty cool game that has those options built in! atrayu17 Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) @chocolambot i am also a teenager and its the parents that should decide not the government. i think its stupid how adults think games like this will ruin kids but its just the opposite. i have been playing M games since i was 8 and i turned out to be more mature than a lot of people in their 20s. all i want to say is that the rating system shouldnt be there. His moral views are his own and he has every right to seek help in the community without being called a bigot. I think a more fair comparison would be if you were asking to remove heterosexual, prudish characters from the game. You don't like being around them, they make you uncomfortable, so why not mod them out? I get that it bugs you that he doesn't have your mindset, but what makes yours the "right one?" For the record, I am also looking for a mod that removes some of the gore. I couldn't care less about the option to marry the same gender. In fact, the Crassius Curio character was one of the more funny bits in MW. I just get frustrated when others try to push their morals on others. To each their own.
