Two Rose of Sharon Cassidy's

First, I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong place. I am not accustomed to posting anything as I am not very internet savvy.

Here is my problem. When I go to the Mojave outpost, There are 2 Cass' at the bar. The one sitting is the culprit. Her name comes up as Cassi. The one standing behind her is the real Cass. I do remember downloading a mod for Cass right After I first got the game, but that was not long after it first came out and I can't remember which mod it was. Also keep in mind that I have had to replace the hard drive at least once and I have formatted and re installed windows xp a few times since then. Every time I install the game from steam, I still get two Cass' at the outpost. Even with no mods installed. When I have the real one join me, the other one follows too. They will eventually get into a fight and the "imposter" gets killed. I then get a message that Cass is dead and I have lost her perk even though the "real" one is still following me. And I can no longer finish Cass' quests. I tried to use GECK to find the imposter and maybe delete her, but all i can find is the real Cass. Can someone please try to help me figure out a way to get rid of the imposter?

LOL? You probably have remnants of a companion mod; did you do a full uninstall of the mod?

I found out how to get rid of her. I pressed the tild and just typed in disable after clicking on her and that worked. I am not sure that the mod was completely removed. I do remember un installing it. I can deal with 2 Cass' as long as I can disable one of them. Never the less, I do thank you for your response and I will try to find out which companion mod it was and get rid of it completely. :smile:
