PrincessOfFlorin
It will usually say it's available for Pre-load when looking at it in your library. I usually just double click the game to see if it's available as it sometimes doesn't update. With the forums down, no one knows if there will even be a pre-load, though they'd be pretty dumb not to have one. It'll probably start tomorrow at the latest if there is one. Thanks! Somebody from Bethesda tweeted that it will be available for pre-load, so I guess it's just a matter of when. I'll keep checking my steam library! hector530
Still no pre-load on steam :(I hate to sound stupid, but this is the first game I've purchased through Steam. How will I be able to tell when I can pre-load? Do I see it from my library? Or does the link activate from someplace else on their site?wait til 11/11/11 and you'll see :) You don't have to wait till 11/11/11. On your library click on skyrim if pre load is up, they'll be a pre load button Edited November 8, 2011 by hector530
satamino
Still no pre-load on steam :( Not going to measure it since I dont have a ruler atm xDI can describe how it feels: Thicker paper with a small plastic layer on it.. feels a bit like wallpaper. Wow you got the wrong quote and you're being lame. Why can't the cool people get it early? They do get it early. ShadowscaleB1980
With the forums down, no one knows if there will even be a pre-load... I agree, their forums have been down for a considerable time. I have already been experiencing problems with steam - when I try to install a store bought copy of portal 2 on my PC
Jaxom120
They should atleast let me install it allready. Does the disc install trick work for skyrim? No it doesn't I tried multiple times.

Delusion really gets ramped up when people are edgy over a game doesn't it.

ShadowscaleB1980
I can't say i'm impressed by steam. People are always going to find a way to flog stuff, I'm a professional photographer - I have had work that was taken of my website*, published and credited to someone else. I contacted the publisher about it but the damage had been done. With steam we don't have a choice, we either use it and put up with it's frustrations or we stop playing games. *that's why I don't have a web gallery any more, even for my CGI stuff.
