natelovesyou
I know that Bethesda has taken pretty decent notes from the modding community of Oblivion and Morrowind and implemented a lot into Skyrim, so there's a chance this has improved. Although, I really think this is about the least important thing in the game ever. Nonetheless, it's a pain when the mechanics suck.
AltreU
I saw a video where at some point the person playing grabbed a book, which fell open in his "havoc grip", and started knocking stuff off of the table by accident. I don't think they've added place-locking.
