neok182
http://dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1483 as stated in the read me: //==========================================// FOR DEVELOPERS://========================================== these swords are released FREE to use for any project !included the source files of the swords, meshes , textures , feel free to modify them as you like. AddIns contains the source toolset files (uti , gda )SourceArt contains meshes (max , fbx , obj) and textures (tga) ---- The download gives the source files and i'd like to request that someone could convert these into nif and dds files for use in oblivion. i can handle the ESP. also wouldn't mind if you could do it for skyrim as well when possible. JDFan
Nice looking swords --- takes a bit of work to convert to the proper formats for OB but they look good in game when done ! Got one of them done and placed in game but am out of free time for tonight - I'll try to get the others done over the next day or two. Once I get them done I'll package them up and send you a link to download by PM (unless you want it posted here - but since you have plans for them probably best by PM !) They have to be resized a bit to fit properly in the hands so does the proportions look correct on this first one or should it be a bit larger ? Here is an in game pic of the first one : http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc189/JDFanning_bucket/swordofukathek.jpg Edited November 9, 2011 by JDFan
neok182
looks great man! i know there are a few sizes of them in DAO but that looks perfect for a one handed. And yeah sending as a PM will be better as theres another mod with alternate textures that i'm going to replicate and release. Texture work i can do, modeling and getting into oblivion is another story
Caithe
I made the Serpentine Elukana smaller because I thought it was a dagger and not a short sword.. I don't really know the actual size of it in dragon age, but from a quick look, seems like everything is over sized in DA. Here they are anyway. You'll just have to overwrite it with JDFan's if you want, if he upload it http://www.mediafire.com/?h825lpp2f5pe941 http://i.imgur.com/2KiBal.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/7usnWl.jpg edited to change link for the new one Edited November 9, 2011 by Caithe
neok182
@Caithe: yeah the DAO swords are pretty huge lol. The first one looks great, second one looks a little small. I like the size of it, but it would be nice to have a larger one as well, more like katana length. Also here a mod that someone made for DAO using it. He actually took the models and then made 3 versions of them for a short sword, katana and then claymore size. http://dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2050
Caithe
I updated it to add a shortsword. I also fixed the dagger which was doing only 1 damage because of a stupid mistake. I rezipped everything so you just have to reinstall over the previous one if you had it installed.http://www.mediafire.com/?h825lpp2f5pe941 http://i.imgur.com/Y5Shzl.jpg Edited November 9, 2011 by Caithe
Keirgarth
Nice looking work on those weapons. Wish I were that accomplished with textures :)

Something like this : http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc189/JDFanning_bucket/coll.jpg Edited November 9, 2011 by JDFan
neok182
thanks for all the work guys. and i noticed that texture error too. waiting on permission from the author of other mod, but just in case working on my own retextures now as well. really hope it won't be hard to convert from oblivion to skyrim. neok182
@Caithe after i fixed the texture issues i tried them out in game. both look great. wouldn't mind having something in between the two though since the size is such a big difference between the two.
