caseypacific
OK! I just loaded some one else's save.1) Restart Fo42) Go to your settlement3) Enter build mode4) Place a bed inside of the normal building area5) Pick up the bed and move it outside of the building area6) press enter/placeIf it does not allow placement press F1 and wait while still in build mode. Let me know if it produces text near the top left of the screen This method worked for me. -edit- Otherwise there is only one other option I can think of, which isn't the "best" optionTried this, still not working, what was your other option? caseypacific
Why not email Beth, explain how IMPORTANT the use of F4SE is to so many of their customers, and request they stop forcing updates via steam that BREAK the game wthout warning. Valve, Like Google and Microsoft, wants updates to be UNSTOPPABLE COMPULSORY changes to a user's system. But users have a RIGHT to NOT have their previously GOOD software installation BROKEN by an update, even if that user was using third-party tools to 'enhance' the application. Customers of Beth have a right to be sickened by the damage to any of their installations caused by forced updates, and demand an appropriate response. In the meantime WISE EXPERIENCED PC users ALWAYS turn off forced updates, and take responsibility for applying updates after inquiry and thoughtful consideration. Don't be a Beth sheep. My issue has nothing to do with Bethesda or their update. As I've stated a couple times, I'm not using the latest patch. I'm running 1.5.205. That is compatible with F4SE. It's an issue with the mod obviously, I just don't know what.

caseypacific
Update: I am going to completely re-install Fallout 4. It's the nuclear option, but frankly, I'm a bit tired of this game having so many issues. I feel as though this should be working, but it isn't for an unknown reason, the only thing I can think to do is start back at square 1 and export my load order and try again from scratch. On the plus side, I will have the latest patch and the new F4SE and update to Place Everywhere just came out today so it will be a real reset. caseypacific
Final update, I re-installed FO4, got the latest patch, got the latest F4SE and re-installed the "Place Everywhere" mod with NMM and it finally works. We can close this dark chapter of my addiction to this game.
