Missing Spell Effects

OK we now have the full list of spells and shouts. My link

 

I compiled this list of "lost" spell effects from the two previous TES. Im not saying all of these NEED modding back in, but my favote magic mod was SUPREME MAGICKA which thoroughly restored everything we had lost from Morrowind... and I think a similar effort is worth considering here. Not for EVERYTHING but lets say, all the key spells effects below that people will miss most.

Missing In Action:

 

(morrowind, not listing a few that really wouldnt fit anymore)

Mark/Recall

Levitation

Daedric/Divine Intervention

Extrication

Jump

Burst of Speed

Poison

Blind

 

(Oblivion - some of these are inexcusable, others are probably just as well left out)

Feather

Burden

Open Lock

Water Walking

Possibly Fire/Frost/Shock shield, depending on whether the "Cloak" destruction spells serve a similar function

 

Bound Armor

Summon 50 different things :P

(Soul trap is not on the list above but this cant possibly be missing, so Im not including it as missing)

 

Disintegrate WEAP/ARMOR

Damage health/fatigue/magicka

Drain health/fatigue/magicka

Weakness to xyz

 

Chameleon

Command Creature

Command Humanoid

Silence (New spell Muffle is a noise/sneak thing, so Silence is missing)

 

Dispel (might not be of much use with this system anyhow)

Reflect Damage

Reflect Spell

Spell Absorption

 

Absorb health/fatigue/magicka/skill

Fortify health/fatigue/magicka/skill

Resist XYZ

Silence, Reflect Spell and Feather really stand out for me as spells I'm a little surprised they left out. Especially for silence, I don't know what the rationale is for not including it.

 

Indeed...

 

Well the Ward series, actively chanelled anti magic shield, serves the function of defense against Spells, maybe they wanted that to be as good as it gets. /shrugs

I think a lot of these spells are in, just under different name.

 

Not really, maybe one or two that I missed but thats all.

 

Oh in my list I forget Cure disease and Cure poison but thats alchemy-exclusive now.

Bane of the Undead (sets all undead up to lvl30 on fire and makes them flee for 30 secs)

Dragon Shouts:

 

Animal Allegiance - A shout for help from the beasts of the wild who will come and fight for you

Aura Whisper - reveals all life forces around you (even through walls and includes undead etc)

Become Ethereal - invincibility but cannot attack etc

Call Dragon - Summon a specific named dragon

Call of Valor - Summon a hero from Sovngarde to aid you (each level of the shout summons a different class of hero)

Clear Skies - This clears the sky of weather, fog, and poison gas traps (doesn't seem to dispel storm call)

Disarm - disarm enemies of their weapons (each word allows for higher level enemies to be disarmed)

Dismaying Shout - Mass fear shout

Dragonrend - Your voice lashes out at a dragons very soul forcing the beast to land

Elemental Fury - Fast attack speed and increases your damage output (not sure if thats an actual damage increase on your weapon or just that you are swinging faster)

Fire Breath - dragon fire breath

Frost Breath - dragon frost breath

Ice form - freeze an enemy solid

Kyne's Peace - Soothes wild beast so they dont fight you

Marked for Death - Saps an enemies armor and causes damage over time

Slow Time - slow time

Storm Call - Lightning storm (only works outdoors and will kill everyone no matter if they are friend or foe)

Throw Voice - throw your voice in a direction so that enemies investigate that and dont see you etc

Unrelenting Force - force wave

Whirlwind Sprint - really fast sprint forward
