Need Help with Modding my New Vegas

Hello everybody,

 

I got into the mood of playing New Vegas again and really looking forward to the DLCs and Mods, since the first time I played almost mod free and only had the Dead Money DLC.

So I got a bunch of mods, took me a while to figure out how it works again and started the game. With maybe 10 mods at some point in goodsprings the game becomes unresponsive, so i try to figure out which mod was causing the issue. I tried disabling all and enabling them one by one until I thought I found which one was the troublemaker and started the game. It would instantly crash when i get into the main menu. I reinstall everything tried putting the mods in a decent order but still instant crash. I disabled most mods and then the game would start. At some point in the game it crashes again. So frustrated i remove all mods but 2 (One of those mods I used the first time I played NV) and so far it works fine, I got out of goodsprings with no issues.

 

The problem is I would really like to have some of the mods in the game. I decided I can live without the weather effects (the world looks to happy during the day ^^) but some appearance mods for the character and weapons I would *really* like to have, the standard looks of my main character is always the same vanilla face.

 

So my questions are what am I doing wrong while modding, I have watched some tutorials but they seem to be outdated. I know those mods work for other people, so why not for me?

Also how can I make my wasteland hero female super hot looking? Mostly the face.

Well, the first thing that pops out is that the load order is a complete mess…

The load order should look something like this:

 

[X] FalloutNV.esm

[X] DLCs and all other esm files

[X] All esp files (plugins)

[DeusNefastus]

As mentioned I already tried making the load order. Main game file first, DLC after, etc.
