Evilllamas
Hi I'm planning out my character (Dumner) spec, loosely (Destruction, one handed, archery, sneak, and any extras in lock pick, light Armour and restoration. When getting perks. if I had the required skill level for a perk half way up the tree, and a free perk point, could I buy it, even if I didn't have a perk directly linked to it, before it? I'm quite confused! Thanks
topeira
as far as i know - yes u can. some perks require earlier perks, but if it's not stated than all you need is the required level. if im wrong - PM me :)
superjeno
you can only acquire a perk if your skill level of that skill is high enough and you have the previous perk that links to it... i know this because it's what i'm experiencing :P
Evilllamas
Ok thanks- I'v planned my skill trees around that being the case anyway... so no extra `work` is needed (and yes, I'm the type that gets out a calculator to calculate max possible DPS in my games...I'm that cool)

Without character attributes and with only these strict perk paths, how are you actually supposed to create a unique character?

Without character attributes and with only these strict perk paths, how are you actually supposed to create a unique character? I think that the way you personally play and the fact you can choose different perks presents a myriad of ways to create a unique character. You may have to have some subsequent perks to get others and in some cases that makes sense, in others not so much, but I still believe that you could easily make a unique character that's all your own creation. Alas I have not played the game and maybe I'm wrong, I just feel/hope that the characters will be quite unique.
