Curt Sibling
Hello all! Two questions concerning the Wraithguard... My battles beyond the ghostgate had seen me wrest the hammer sunder and knife keening from the grey corprus-coated mitts of the house Dagoth. Mr Ur is high on my hit-list, so now needed wraithguard to finish this mad leader of house Dagoth under red mountain.I have usually done the main quest fair and square, but decided to take the evil route for once. My level 24 battlemage character Urizanne decided after winning Azura's wager (and star!) that it was time to pay a certain living god a visit. I was not meeting Vivec for tea and cakes! Armed with an array of spells, my 60 point health damage, 40+ chop-damage ebony sword, and using the infamous shadow amulate, I thusly engaged in an epic ninja battle that left the traitor of St. Neverar dead and defeated. Hurrah! Now with the unique dwemer artefact (wraithguard) in my possession, I went and grabbed the red mountain documents, divine metaphysics, egg of time, Kagnerac's plan book and journal (also captured from my many attacks on red mountian) and headed to Tel Fyr. In the corprus bowles, I met up with the Bagrum, the last dwarf, and asked the little mutated fellow to be a decent dwemer and get the glove working. He noticed I had the planbook and journal, and told me to come back in a day, I duly did, only to be asked the same thing...In an endless loop! My reputation is 20 and I have no idea what his disposition is to me... Question one, what am I doing wrong here? Why wont the legless Bagrum fix the glove for me? Secondly, I saved, and decided to use the console and call up the jury-rigged wraithguard to see what it does, while leaving the unique wraithguard with Bargrum. Ouch! It took me from 227 points to a measly 13 points of health! Now this is be expected. But I, who used to clash steel with daedra lords now get a royal beating from rats! Question two, apart from levelling and enchantments, how do I gain permanent health again? My character is a wimp now! Help me someone! :o

Curt Sibling
This is what I get for trying the easy route! I realised by leaving tel fyr and coming back was the way to progress the dialouge with the last dwemer. So I equipped jury-rigged wraithguard and using a combo of the shadow amulet and my enchanted sword, I did manage to infiltrate Red Mountain and yet again, send Mr Ur into his lava hell! Now my mission is to level up all over the island and get ready for Mournhold and Solstheim! B)

Curt Sibling
I started a new PC today! A Nord knight. He has a raven tattoo across his eyes, using Don Salus's nord faces...Awesome! I am going to do the quest proper style if needs be! Once Ur is dead, then I will kill Vivec!
DaedricDeath
Just kill Vivic. Then you don't have to waste your time going through the whole main quest :bleh:
cmac
Just kill Vivic. Then you don't have to waste your time going through the whole main quest :bleh:That is bad advice that I highly suggest you ignore. Killing Vivec is not good for anything, apart from getting a second Wraithguard. You cna by no means skip the entire Main Quest by killing Vivec- there are many, many more things to do- you cannot become Hortator and Incarnate without the Main Quest. *Whacks DaedricDeath with the Staff of Blinding Reality*
Curt Sibling
My whole trouble stemmed from killing the poet-god! Next time I am going to play fair, then whack the traitor! B)
Stormscape
actually, Vivec is useless after you get wriathguard from ghim.
cmac
That goes without saying; he's dead. And if you haven't started/completed the main quest, then he's a real hinderance.
