DaveKap
For some reason, this game has two very major, very stupid problems. The first is that if you bind away from the default WASD controls so you could use, say ESDF, everything else outside your movement is still based on WASD. The menus, reading books, lockpicking, it's all stuck to the old WASD setup and isn't re-bindable. Could someone please fix this? I can wait for a proper mouse-controlled UI if I could at least navigate the menus using ESDF over WASD. The second problem... did anyone else notice that the X and Y sensitivities of the mouse are completely unequal? Could anyone find a way to fix this? I can actually bind my X and Y dpi separately for my mouse, but I have no idea what the actual differential is in Skyrim so I'm just kinda flying by the seat of my pants with my current settings. While we're at it, how about fixing sensitivities in-game vs in-menu vs in-lockpicking. It seems like the menus are too slow, the game is just fine, and the lockpicking is WAAAAAAAAY ramped up. It'd be pretty nice if someone could fix this. And hey, is it just me, or is the FOV something small like 60? Any way I could ramp that up to the proper 90 that my widescreen monitor needs? Thanks! Danter
I dunno about the other things, but for your FoV just press | (button above yer TAB) to bring up console and type fov 90, this isn't a permanent solution tho and it will reset itself, I'm not sure if there is any way without mods to make it permanent, but I want one!
