CaptainChaos
I just ran through the first adventure in the trailer, the one everyone has seen probably. It took like 30 seconds on Adept (slight exaggeration but that's what it felt like). Bash bash bash. Dead dead dead. On Master, every combat was life and death, and the boss fight actually required some heavy (and ultra expensive magic). MUCH BETTER on MAX difficulty. I dk maybe later on, it will be plenty challenging without it, but all the undead creeping out of nowhere was laughable when I just put them straight away down. Now, it was friggin scary. TwiggySkyrim
Just wait til you meet a saber tooth tiger. It's like mountain lions from oblivion all over again, except this ones 4 times the size >.<
Xydonus
I jacked mine up to Expert, might even jack it up further, but right now playing on Expert feels about right for my level, adept is far too easy...
CaptainChaos
you know. I might be dead wrong. The saber tooth tigers and the bandit leaders are killing me in one shot! And I'm 7th level. Yikes! It's not even challenging. I'm slaughtered. At least the game is not too easy. I hate that. If it's too hard, you can get better, but nothing makes it fun when it's too easy.
CaptainChaos
no. I was correct, IMHO. I'm a 10th lvl fighter and regular bandits are fodder, bandit chiefs and leaders are very tough fights as are spiders, but only at Master Level difficulty. Otherwise, I would cut through everything like butter, with my strictly warrior build, mace and shield. I highly recommend upping the difficulty level for a challenge, especially given how fast leveling occurs. Of course, I still haven't activated dragons (I think I will around 20th level).
