I am getting a red warning triangle on some some NPC, please help!

So I have been modding a fresh skyrim, I have followed guides on how to install each mod and with each other. I have cleaned the master files and I am using LOOT to fix the mod load order. Everything is working fine, I might have a crash or two when it loads but nothing permanent, I just load the game and everything works.

 

But I have noticed that some creatues like Giants and spiders are missing textures or meshes? They are showing a red triangle with a white exclamation in it. I don't know why it happens, I have tried removing some mods but without prevail. I really would like if somebody cunning could help me out.

 

I really don't want to verify cache in steam because I am afraid I have to reinstall every mod again.

 

Here are the mods I am using. Yes I am running FNIS everytime I remove a mod that has animation changes. I will also show you a picture of a Giant for example.

((( Oh yeah the children with the children overhaul mod are having invisible necks and for some reason the light is super strong by some light sources in whiterun, close to the main gate. So if you know this problem too please tell me if you want :) )))

Hi,

Welcome to modding skyrim. This will be a looong and sometimes... ok, mostly frustrating journey. I spend all my time now modding/breaking the game instead of playing it.

The best help I can give you is to suggest using a google search e.g. 'skyrim red triangle'. If you aren't already, look at using Mod organiser or Nexus mod manager to manage your files. I haven't manually installed since Oblivion. (google 'Mod organiser' and 'Nexus mod manager')

There are guides/youtube videos out there, info buried on random forum pages and in mod comment pages/readme/changelog. Prepare yourself to do a lot of learning. May google search guide you to the information you seek.

whenever i install any mods with new textures anything that's a part of that mod becomes exactly like that, a giant red triangle with an exclamation mark. i've tried from instaling weapons where the entire weapon is just a red triangle or follower mods where the follower is just a giant red triangle.
i thought it might be that my computer is just not the best and that i can't run high detail images but seeing this problem which makes me rethink the problem

Despite playing and using mods in Skyrim for several years now, I am not the expert who can help you a lot.

However, I agree that your problem really is due to the fact that the game cannot find the textures and mesh, possibly because they were erased, the path is wrong (this seems to me to be the most likely cause) or because some ESP of some mod is indicating a different path for them than it would be the normal one.

It seems to me that you are moding Skrym manually. Experts say it is the best way to control everything, but it is also the best way for a small mistake to ruin everything.

I strongly advise you to make a list of the mods you plan to use, install Skyrim again and then install Mod Organizer 2. Then install your mods with this mod manager and you will find that many problems with installing and managing mods will be minimized.

There are several Gopher videos on YouTube that show you how to use the Mod Organizer. One of the advantages of Mod Organizer is that it already has Loot built in, making it easier to install and uninstall mods.
