See: http://store.steampowered.com/about/ Am I correct then, that the actual game is not on the disk, that the disk only installs steam so I can download the game? I don't understand when I pre-ordered Skyrim I wasn't asked if I wanted the Steam version, it just arrived on the doorstep this morning and right now I am not a happy bunny because I don't want a Steam version. micalov Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 The disk will also contain most the files, so all you will have to download is any up to date patch, all versions use steam minus the Russian version I believe which uses a different DRM but is also region locked.
