I have NMM installed on my C: Drive, and Fallout 4 installed on my D: Drive, and i heard that NMM and Fallout 4 need to be installed on the same drive for mods to work, but i want to run Fallout 4 on my SSD but i can't fit my NMM folder onto it as well, so is it possible to keep Nexus Mod Manager installed on the C: drive, but make the mods work with Fallout 4 on my D: Drive?

yes, you can do anything if you study the problem, workaround the issues.

You can do what I do.

I have Fallout installed on my SSD. In NMM there's a setting for NMM mods folder, where NMM keeps mod installation files. Set that to your larger drive. When NMM installs mods it can get them from that folder and extract them to your SSD Fallout directory. This should cut the space needed for mods on your SSD by almost half, since you're not storing mod installation files on it.
