elvinkun
Hey,right to the point - I have mouse sensitivity on max, and while X-axis is slower, but kinda ok, the Y axis (Up and down) is very, very slow, and I actually have to drag the mouse accros my whole table to look up or down. Makes it rather hard to see what you want to see and especially WHEN you want to see it. Dragon probably flew above me, but I didn't see it, because my table wasn't big enough for me to look up. Please, is there any ini where you can tweak X and Y axis? Thanks in advance,Elvin Edited November 11, 2011 by elvinkun
MooMooDevil
For god knows what reason, your vertical sensitivity is proportional to your FPS. Sounds like you'll need to low so graphics settings so you get closer to 60 FPS. This is what happens to me at least.
elvinkun
Well, I have 30-40 FPS and I don't really want more...or less. Some say 30 FPS sucks, I say human eye can't tell difference between 30, 40 and 50. At 60+ you will see the shoothness, yes. Anyway, that wasn't my point here :D After I distabled the controller default setting, it all got a hell lot better, but I still could use some boost, but not of that means making the game ugly, huh.If the FPS and mouse sensitivity are really tied, then Bethesda did something there I do not understand :D
elvinkun
Kind of bumping, wondering if more people have this and perhaps someone found any solution?Got used to UI, but this lazy mouse is hard to get used to, especially if you're not big fan of meele. elvinkun
Just if anyone finds this and suffers similar problems... Skyrim.ini in either steam or documments folder, add fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0200 (or any other number if you want to have vertical move slower or faster)fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200at the end of the document to sync vertical and horizontal speed of the mouse. Not the best, but it's better. I understand this should have been in the ini from the start, but it sure wasn't in mine, nor there was any "control" section. elvinkun
Sorry not clear to me exactly where to find this document and folder to add text to fix x/y axis could you elaborate please?Well, I'm not sure depending on what, but someone seems to have the inis in the Steam Skyrim folder, someone in .../documents /my games/skyrim. Called Skyrim.ini. You open it in notepad and add those two values at the end or, if the ini already has them in it, you just edit the Y one to have the same value as the X. Save, close, run the game. It didn't completle fix it, but it seems like it's better. Actually I don't get how this game works, this should've fixed it.I will cry soon.
