atrayu17
i agree but what about vampirism and werewolves? shouldnt those affect the needs?
atrayu17
also for temperature it should also rely on what race you are. i.e khajiit and argonians should be less tolerant to the cold compared to the nords. all other races should be more or less equally tolerant
maikanix
i agree but what about vampirism and werewolves? shouldnt those affect the needs? Not sure about werewolves. Maybe it would be necessary to transform a certain amount of times in a week, or a forced transformation will occur. Vampires absolutely need modification to make it more 'hardcore'. Basically hunger would only be filled by drinking from people. its unfortunate that you can't find people in a dark corner and feed a-la VTMB. Also it would probably be necessary to soften the differences between a fed vampire and a hungry vampire, since the system in place doesn't really work well if feeding is a necessity...I'm not sure. Vampires clearly require more thought..
atrayu17
well heres what i came up with for vampires.....require to feed for they dont age but when they do feed they get huge bonuses in everything but its really easy for them to be caught due to highly populated areas. for werewolves they shouldnt be able to get the well rested perk. they also should only be able to transform at night when its a full moon and it should require you to feast on so many people or animals otherwise you get very weak and will die rather easily. this system should also affect npc's
runicNomad
I would just say the request here are immersion mode. I loved Oblivion FCOM and other mods that added eating and sleeping. It is also very needed right now for a comprehensive skill slower and level up slower. Every single Bethesda Title levels are just too dam fast. Meritus
Awesome Idea!I loved HC mode in F:NV, Making HC mod for Skyrim would be great :-) +1 @EtherellaYes, I think we need to make up a list of what should be in a hardcore mod. 1. Feed Horse with wheat, or it will die.

chrismgtis
I was actually wondering if increasing the difficulty to the highest would basically be hardcore mode (eat, sleep etc). I guess you answered that for me.
FoneBone
I too want this!! A Hard Core mod.. The need for sleep and eat, would be great! :)
Drytor
Forgive me for sounding like Minecraft but perhaps regeneration only occurs when sleep, food and drink are full? - With full food you get Health regain gradually decreasing as you get more hungry to the stage you start losing Health - With full sleep you get Stamina regain grdually decreasing as you get more tired to the stage you start losing Stamina - With full drink you get Magicka regain gradually decreasing as you get more thirsty to the stage you start losing Magicka At the final stages all of them will affect the regeneration of the other attributes so you can't just decide, I'm not a mage, I never need to drink! I think that would be the easiest and most emmersive way to implement this
