HollowSmiles13
I, like many, grow tired of Whiterun hold's bleak landscape, especially around the city itself. The Forest of Whiterun is a gorgeous mod, but my computer can't handle it, and to be honest, I love the idea of looking out across the misty moors of Whiterun. If someone could transform the area around Whiterun into a hazy, green, and eerie landscape, that would be really cool. At least, it would be to me.I'm no modder, but I imagine doing such a thing would be relatively simple to someone with experience. It would only be a matter of changing the color of the ground, perhaps adding or removing grasses and rocks, and adding in some mist. But as I said, I'm not familiar with modding and what it would take to do something like this (If I did, I'd be doing it myself!) But I was looking at the area and thought it would provide a good foundation for such a change, and nothing too drastic would need to be done to it. Even if it's just a rolling fog in the mornings and evenings, it would be a huge improvement, and it wouldn't be quite so hard on a person's fps as a whole forest full of trees. Here are some example photos I found on google images for anyone who's not quite sure what I mean: http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/65108000/jpg/_65108946_richardmannion.jpghttp://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ARQt4dSjGOA/UKcp9AVEWJI/AAAAAAAAB6Q/u2Yw6vwSeXY/s1600/landscape-20_Take__1505259i.jpghttp://www.dphotographer.co.uk/users/20836/thm1024/1318885583_Misty%20moors.jpg Any thoughts? redrakiton125
You are aware there are mods like purity tamriel climates and other climates overhaul mods that enhance the whole Skyrim right? Edited June 18, 2016 by redrakiton125
HollowSmiles13
Yes, I am aware of these, but as I have said, I am running this on a laptop and can't have too many overhauls on at one time. The Flora Overhaul and Climates of Tamriel cause random crashes, and it's just too much to have such big mods enabled, especially when I'm also running an ENB. It's much easier and effective to just add mods that enhance certain things (such as towns or cities, or in this case, certain areas of Skyrim). Believe me, I've looked for things that match this. I wouldn't just post this without doing my research on what works for me and what doesn't.

Any modification like this will create stress on you laptop ad I would probably need a lot of scripts to control the weather. But if you are still interested I am willing to try just PM me. HollowSmiles13
Look, I've just said I have tried everything. But it's fine, I'll just drop the request. Edited June 21, 2016 by HollowSmiles13
HollowSmiles13
Clearly, it's not going to work on my laptop and I'll just have to wait until I can get an actual gaming computer in a few years. Thanks anyway, though.
