The manual that comes in the box isn't much.

Litteraly 2 pages, it's got 5 languages in...

I like nice manuals, and really liked oblivions. Bit disapointed with this, given that the Xbox one is much thicker!

To get the manual:

On your steam games library page - right click on the game, select 'View Player Manual' from the list.

It is a .pdf file and you will need a pdf reader to see it. If you don't have a pdf reader, it will offer to download a free one for you. You can save the manual for reference also.

Not the best manual I have seen, about 20 pages, but it will give you the basics - as has already been said, Oblivion's manual was far better. :wallbash:

The manual that comes with the game is not very informative. This game is huge in content. My suggestion is purchase the guide book. You will be glad you did. It's over 500 pages and covers everything complete with charts, maps, quests etc. A must for this game if you ask me.

Evilllamas, This is incorrect. The manual that comes in the box is 20 pages - not 2. Sorry to be the 'word' police, but you shouldn't use the word 'literally' if you don't mean it.

Incidentally, the PDF manual is now finally available from the game's Steam page as well (bottom right).
