Horses

Anyone else find them to be just a burden? It sucks that you can't get your companion a horse, so it's awkward having them chase after you. Also all mobs seem to go for your horse before you, and your horse will attack anyone that attacks you like it's a companion. I would prefer mobs ignore the horse, or if the horse got attacked it would just run away 50 feet and wait out.

It's awkward seeing your horse get set on fire by a Witch, then chase after another mob attacking them completely engulfed in flames.

I personally was disappointed that I could not fight while on my horse, infact they seem to have took a step backwards from Oblivion. We're now forced to watch ourselves ride in 3rd person without the ability to talk to anyone or interact with anything while on horseback.

My horse decided to attack a bandit on a narrow bridge. He ragdoll-glitched into a pillar and flew into the air before landing on the ground, dead. I can't revive him with the console -.-

edit: nvm, it worked but he was still lying on his side so i thought he was dead.

That reminds me, I especially hate how you can't pan your camera around while on the horse, there should be a button to hold in to rotate camera but not turn your character.

I too have found the horse to be a pain. You have to stop to fight every 10 minutes or gather alchemy ingredients. Sadly, there is no mounted combat and the horse speed is slower than it was in oblivion. Riding a horse only seems worth it when you need to go a long distance to reveal a new travel point.
