Nebrule
The game isn't recognizing a couple of remapped keys, any solution for this? for me it's only when the ui is up, like reading a book, I can turn the pages and everything else but i cant "take" it - I remapped the "action" ket to M3, ui still says press E to take.and in the items ui drop and favorite are flipped around. this is killin me, thanks in advance
Nebrule
anybody? could this be fixed through the console?
Eiries
This seems to be a massively recurring experience... the game doesn't map these changes in all aspects of it, like the menu. Right now I have "F" set to draw a weapon... now I have trouble setting Favorites because F is still used for that... so I end up just dropping the weapon instead of favoriting it. Because of the way I'm set up, I found that pressing a different button... like E, I think, ended up allowing me to pick up books. I hope these shenanigans get fixed in the near future, because it's making it painfully difficult to enjoy the game at times. :wallbash:
scrivener07
Same problem here. I hope Beth fixes this remapping bug.
Oldwolf58
The remapping is bugged. when you're in menu mode it stays mapped to the originals however: some of the keys work differently. To take a book you've just read .... while the book is open hit the space bar and it should go to your inventory if it doesn't try the enter key one of those should work. As for me I haven't found a way to get the favorites to work at all after remapping the key for it. :(
scrivener07
exactly. I found its best not to try and change the Q or F keys. For the books, if you like me and like Jump to = E and Activate to = Space then it makes interacting with books a little different. I use Space to open a book and from there I have to hit tab to put it back or space again to take it. No big deal I just wish the menus would reflect the correct keys.
