I have killed at least 8 dragons but when i try to unlock a shout it keeps saying dragon souls required. I only have the 2 the force one and the dash one can i get some help? graverobberxl Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 I cant tell you why this may be happening without spoiling the main quest line but if your not on the 3rd-5th or so main quest mission you may not be able to unlock them for a certain reason. They are teaching me the clear skies shout if that helps any.But even after i learn it, it says dragon souls required I am thinking i might have to restart the game Is there a way to edit dragon souls to my char so i dont have to restart? I strongly suspect you're doing what I was doing. Basically, you have to "Unlock" the shouts before you can spend the souls on them. I can't explain it for the PC, but on the 360 when I click A on a shout it comes up with "Need Dragon Souls" or whatever it is, but I click X and it unlocks the power.
