In the old MW you could put stuff down anywhere even the ground which I did in Belmora and on the floor of the blades guy's house in Belmora. Came back later and the stuff is gone. I am only a level 2 and have no place to put stuff. Can I use the shack in of the taxman killer in Seyda Neen? Can I kill someone in Belmora and take over there place like someone who I have to kill later in a quest? I have a feeling this is caused by one of the MOD's and the 1.4.1820 and the 1.6.1820 patch's along with the graphic patch. Any help or advice would be great. What you can't do is use chests, as the contents respawn. As a start, use the house of Ralen Hlaalu in Balmora. You can use the console to disable his corpse and the place is yours (but not the chests etc.). Otherwise there are many housing mods. I used to leave stuff everywhere outside now I can't even put stuff in the blsdr guys floor in BALMORA so I guess I will have to get a house MOD (SIGH) now that I have a zip/unzip util to handle WinRar files. Lawrence I have no problem with placing stuff on the ground so it is certainly a mod causing the trouble. To remove any item you don't want, open the console click on the object and type disable. Ifyou want to put it back type enable. However the enable command needs to be the very next console command you use after disable or it is much harder to put things back. I have 2 unofficial patch's that bring the game to 1.6.1820 and the graphics patch all from Nexus. Because they fix a number of other errors and I can get house's add forever I think I will keep the MOD's . You should try the graphics MOD as it makes MW look so much better. My other problem was not having a un zip program as mine was wiped out in a HDD crash add did not copy from my backup drive. I got IZArc and it works great so now I can download some MOD's if I wish.
