q111 Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 In the official forums someone mentioned, that the respawn timer may be 720 hours. i tried to open skyrim.esm with fnvedit, it worked but i'm no modder, and i don't know the exactly location of the respawn-timer. We all recall them saying something about 'never ending' quests . So maybe if you find a pick up questto go back to one you were at it respawns then. Something to consider before churning out blind respawn MODS for sure. I will say I've picked up quite a few side quests that were initiated by reading books I find. So many books! Well, at least dungeons respawn too. I'd definitely give up on the game if they didn't.And no, I didn't have any new quests picked up during my little experiment, so I guess they have nothing to do with respawn. I waited for a month outside of a mine, all the bandits there respawned, but the veins remained inactive. Edit: for those who might be concerned about ore veins replenishing: they do when the cell respawns, but for some reason when you enter the repopulated cell for the first time, veins look normal (non-depleted), but are inactive (can't be interacted to).
