AngelOfPassion
I would not recommend it... the .esp for that mod is a complete mess and changes many things around skyrim that it shouldn't. I uninstalled that mod.
UrgeNexus
I would not recommend it... the .esp for that mod is a complete mess and changes many things around skyrim that it shouldn't. I uninstalled that mod. This caused the same problem for me, among others, such as ridiculously overpowered enemies added just outside riverwood that one-shot you as soon as you start playing basically. If you are running that mod, disable it and never look back. I liked what it did to Whiterun to a certain extent, but the amount of random stuff it adds and the conflicts just isn't worth it. Triumfall665
Greetings all, I have found one solution to this particular problem...Please note that this may be a possible spoiler and what not, so please do not be upset by this =) If you are about to follow Brynjolf to the Cistern (after handling the "deadbeats" and receiving your coin for the mission) and you changed your appearance , that is the bug, you change your whole appearance so you are not "recognized" by the other NPC's whom are in the Cistern. So, automatically they will be hostile towards you. Attacking you like a swarm of bee's... That you cannot continue any missions or listen to anyone in the Cistern. Bear that in mind before changing your appearance. Disabling mods and plug-in's may be a solution as well, I have not tried doing that yet. Hope this works for those whom has problems =) Edited January 25, 2013 by Triumfall665

raynin1111
I just went through all my mods, turning them on and off, and i found that the mod quest "undeath" makes this glitch happen for me. If you still have this problem I suggest you do what I did and just go through all your mods five at a time until the damn thing works, make sure to keep a clean save though. I saved before turning in the quest, hope this helps someone.
KnightSparda
Animated prostitution definitely conflicts with the trigger activating the 2nd Thieves Guild Quest "Loud and Clear". Disable it before turning in the first quest. Listen to the Thread Necromancer. (Jokes asides, I just met this conflict, so I thought this might help.)
