Azarathal Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I'm already forgetting half my keybinds from the favourites menu and imo there arent enough binds. I'm thinking maybe half the standard 1-9 action bar with options to add another using either Shift+1-9 or Alt+1-9 What do people think?
kromosoom Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 i have been wanting this from the very first day. There are so many spells and buffs in the game you want to use and its annoying as hell to open the favorites menu for every little thing and in so ruining the flow of the combat.
hyperforce Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I agree, being able to tap 1-9 to select/use/toggle preset equipment/spell combos would make all the difference. And perhaps a radial menu for those using an Xbox360 controller.Press > d-pad button + right Thumbstick direction, let go to select preset So you could make presets like these and instantly switch between them. Press 1:Left hand: Fire spellright hand: sword Press 2:Left hand: Heal self spellRight hand: Heal target spell Press 3:Both hand: Greatsword. Press 4: Use health potion Press 5: toggle shout type. etc.
Azarathal Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Anyone else think this is a good idea?
kitsuneshoujo Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'd like a mod that actually PUTS quickbars on the screen like we see in other games/mmos. That way I can see what I have available and click on it or type the numbers for the item.
KingsGambit Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I realise this is a months old thread but googling "skyrim action bar mod" leads to this page. Does anyone know if such a thing exists, or is being worked on? A quick way to swap between lots of favourite spells and equipment would be fantastic.
Onar23 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I want someone to get better hotkeys like the oblivion mod, where you can use shift+number, or alt+number, or if possible, use the num pad as a separate set of hotkeys from the main numbers.
crysthala Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I know this is possible, but unfortunately, I don't have the coding knowledge to make this happen. Anyone interested in this should probably ask the people who worked on the SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) and SkyUI whether they're working on it, because you are probably not the only people looking. I also remember seeing a whole series of "Categorized Favorites" mods, which alter the favorites menu to fit various play styles and specifications. Good luck. :)
