Roane
Intentionally keybinding esc would also be very, very bad. I did unintentionally. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled, only to find out that the settings from the first install were still in effect. Does Steam preserve things like that? I attempted to use Steam support for the Elder Scrolls games, but Skyrim wasn't listed yet. sigh Any help is appreciated.

XunAmarox
Worst case scenario, I guess you could backup your save games and reinstall.
Blocky
steam does save keybindinds. this can be turned off in steam settings, under cloud sync options or something like that.
XunAmarox
Did you set the keybind in-game? I've noticed if I have one hotkey as D and another as E and I change one, it'll swap them. So maybe whatever was the original hotkey for whatever your Esc is the hotkey for now will bring up the "Esc" menu, then you can change it back from there. Thanks, found it, disabled it, and will now try again. Probably have to reinstall, again, but worth it.
