void666
I wish i had the slightest idea how to create a mod. Well, my idea is this: You can use the workshop to create a new item called "respawner". You place it in your settlement and use a generator to power it.Then you go your merry way doing your thing. When you die your game is saved so you don't lose everything you've done up until that point. And you spawn in the nearest settlement where you've built a respawner. I enjoy a challenge. I think death should be punishing. But i find very frustrating when i die and lose progress.
PressTheEject
Yeah I would want this as well, but make it a hospital bed or something so you don't have to strain your suspension of disbelief too much.
void666
Well, dying and then waking up in a hospital is not exactly realistic. My point is to add the functionality of a spawn point to settlements since i'm not very interested in settlement building. Anyway, found this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13933/? And it does more or less what i want. Currently it isn't working it seems. But it adds a debuff (survival) everytime you die. I don't want that. What i want is to die, then respawn at a nearby settlement. Having to walk all the way to where i was is the punishment. Maybe the respawner could a use fusion core when you're revived. Just so it's not "free" of charge.
BlueBeard1983
Go to DDProductions All In One. He overhauled it and isn't supporting the standalone anymore. The All In One adds a bunch of stuff to the game that I personally like. It's still in testing stage though...
