Recently Updated Mods

Hello, I am a user of your site, as someone that both download mods and as someone who uploads my own mods.

This site is fairly useful, but theres something that seems to be missing. From my time using this site, I have yet to find a way to see the most recently updated mods. I'm able to see the latest mods, and the file of the month, but I haven't been able to see what mod has recently updated. I feel like this can really be a useful feature to have, as sometimes people don't like a mod because of an issue they found with it, and they promptly drop it and go on their way. The Mod Author could've fixed up the mod and maybe even expand it and refined it to a point where the person might've enjoyed the mod, but that person would never know because there isn't an easy way to see that it updated.

I hope you consider this down the line, as this can really help both Modders and Users alike!

You can see recently updated with a mod manager like NMM or Mod Organizer and anyone that's that interested in hot swapping mods really should be using some kind of organizer. Though personally I find that constantly updated mods are more trouble than they're worth and try to avoid them as often as possible, some newer mod users seem to like mods that update often but in my experience they tend to cause more problems than they fix for more complex load orders.

Every game we support has a drop down menu under the FILES tab on its front page. DO NOT click on files, hover your mouse over it without clicking.

That drop-down menu has New today, Which includes BOTH the new files uploaded and the files that have been updated

AND a New Recently which also has both in a reverse date format. yesterdays files will be first, then the day before yesterday and on down

AND there is a Top Files selection that includes a listing of the most endorsed recently added files

AND a list of the most endorsed files for the last two weeks.

 

So, not one list but FOUR that you can choose from. :thumbsup:
