mackmudge
I keep getting this error when i try to activate my mods that says: A Problem occurred during install:The execution has failed due to the bug in the SevenZip SharpPlease Report about it to http://sevenzipsharp.codeplex.com/WorkItem/List.aspx. post the release number and attach the archive. The mod was not installed. And I have A 2TB hard drive with 1.32TB left of free space of C: which is where my mods and everything else is so the usual 'You don't have enough space' fix is out of the question. And also I have used Nexus Mod Manager in the past with absolutely no errors! Can someone please reply. Thanks.
RoyBatterian
Clean your temporary directory with disk cleanup or a third party tool.
fadeddreamzz
this did not help. im on special edition. any other solutions?
dubiousintent
SevenZip Sharp is a DLL Library wrapper used by programs to call the 7Zip archiver tool. So the problem is in the mod manager you are using. Despite the error message, you need to raise this issue with the support for the mod manager in question. (There are many reports of problems with this and Bethesda games on the SevenZip Sharp site "Issues" page, and no responses.) You can use the standalone 7Zip tool to manually unpack the archive, but then you have to manually install the contents to the correct location expected by your mod manager. And not clear what you mean by "on special edition". -Dubious- Edited November 18, 2016 by dubiousintent
Friaos
I have found yet another possible solution! This worked for me atleast. I uninstalled ByteFence Malware, some kind of anti-malware program that somehow found its way in my computer (while installing some other program). My advice: evaluate your anti-malware/anti-virus programmes and see if switching them off or uninstalling (some of) them works!!

dubiousintent
Good point. Added to the "Checklist" in the "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide because I knew that but forgot to include it, and the checklist is to remind people of things to look into. FYI: Only one post per forum is necessary, especially if you choose the correct sub-forum carefully. Otherwise it becomes "spamming". -Dubious-

dubiousintent
Thanks for the suggestion, but please note the date of the previous post, and see the Nexus "Terms of Service" about not resurrecting old threads. -Dubious-
