There is no text when im in a crafting station UI

Hi everyone.

I am having this super annoying bug.

When im at a crafting station (weapons, food, whatever) there is no text once i go into the station UI menus. i can cycle through the options [that i know are there since i have been playing for more than 100 hours] but now i cant see them. there is no text. not jibberish. definately not english.... there's... just nothing. it's like im shuffing through air.

i can click on the words that are supposed to be there and go into sub menus but i have no idea what im doing.

maybe it's a mod that's causing this? here is my load order, just in case:

Just in case someone comes across this issue as well -

took me 3 or 4 hours to figure out its because of a mod called:

time on loading screens and pipboy time - DEF TOOLS PT

uninstalling it solved my issue.
