ABVXYzackattack
Alright. I've been playing Skyrim pretty much nonstop since its release. I've seen a few people in the game who really peak my interest. It's been 200 years after the last Septim died, but it brings up a good question...Why exactly did the Thalmor ban the worship of the Talos? Why don't they like him? brockyhocky
Because talos wasn't a god, he was a mortal, they think it's immoral to worship a mortal
ABVXYzackattack
But he ascended to godhood tho by doing super cool crap and uniting all of Tamriel. Gotta give the guy that...Is it cuz they're super anti-empire?
zarxark
And the player can't do stuff like that?... Ok he can't do THAT kind of stuff but still, I want to ride a dragon.
meesles
Because talos wasn't a god, he was a mortal, they think it's immoral to worship a mortal Isn't that similar to how most consider Uriel Septim part of The Nine? He earned 'godhood' through his accomplishments.
