Mythos214
That was worn on the back like a back pack, how would I do that? Would that even be possible? I'm assuming it wouldn't be too hard to throw something together (mesh wise) in NifSkope, but the real challenge I think, would be getting the effect to work in the portable sense, would that require some scripting knowledge, or would it be as simple as applying the affect to to the object and then making a crafting recipe and (maybe) some upgrades? TheHyruler
Personally I think you're underestimating how hard it would be to make the backpack alone, but I don't know your personal skill level, Regardless I'm unsure it's even possible to enable/Disable fog around you. And I'm almost certain it's impossible to change cells fog level on the fly in game. Hope I'm wrong though, it's an interesting idea.
EmissaryOfWind
It depends, I haven't looked at that particular object, but if the visual effect is a node in the mesh like I think it is, it shouldn't be too hard, you can simply copy the nodes from the base and paste them into your backpack with nifskope. I don't think the fog condensers have any effects other than cosmetic, but you can make the armor add-on give any bonus to the player, like some of the food bonuses from Far Harbor. NoPoliticalCorrectness
Hello, I created new fog condensers by using the console commands and placing them. 1. Open Console2 Click on Fog Condenser3. Type spawndupe and press Enter4 Close Console5 Open Console6 Click on the new Fog Condenser7 Type setangle x 0 and press Enter (it spawns off x axis)8 Type modpos (x or y or z) for the axis and then Space and then number (ex: modpos x 1000 moves Fog Condenser 1000 units on positive x axis whereas modpos y -1000 would move it 1000 units on the negative y axis)8 Keeping using modpos to move Fog Condenser to where you want it.9 Exit Console10 Move back to original Fog Condenser11 Open Console12 Click on the Fog Condenser jug13 Repeat Steps 3 through 9 Repeat as many times as necessary. Once done, Save game, Exit to Menu, and Reload and the new Fog Condenser will work and act like the original. It looks long and complicated but once you are used to it, it is fast. I hope this helps people. Take care and have fun.
