Continuous Woodcutting

Concurred. I wouldn't want infinite chopping, but if it cut at least 12 times before stopping I'd be a whole lot happier. I find that I do a lot of woodcutting when I'm on the lam to pass the time, and I'd like less hassle if possible.

Also - it'd be nice if you could get some firewood for running the mill thing - maybe not the most realistic thing to give the player, but it would be a nice gesture considering that you're running the damned mill for Talos' sake.

Bump for the Creation Kit's sake. I haven't been able to get the kit for myself yet, but if no mod for this is released by the time I do I'll step in.

I don't care if you restrict the amount it cuts, or if it's infinite. But could someone please give the mill some purpose? I like running it but I can't stay motivated on it if I'm not getting anything for it.

Use the Creation Kit to modify these two scripts:

resourcefurniturescript: change 6 (chopping 3 times) to a higher number like 10 (chopping five times) or even 20 (chopping ten times). You can also alter the amount of firewood gained per chopping session. Standard is 2, as it seems.

MineOreScript: change 3 to a higher number like 5 or 10. Again, you can also change the amount of ore each working session yields.

I changed the values you mentioned in resourcefurniturescript, both by editing the source and the properties (shouldn't matter, but I checked just in case). But I've never managed to receive more than 2 firewood each chop, and the only time I managed to chop more than 3 times was when I changed the counter to add 1 instead of ResourceCount..this seemed to produce a little skip in the animation, however, so I would like to avoid making changes to it if possible, and don't see why it wouldn't be.. I've looked over and unchecked mods I thought could be conflicting.. Changes I've made to the weight of firewood load, so the game is loading the mod, and when I go back to look at the script my changes are saved.... any suggestions??
