NeroAkira Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) I believe the intro, important as it may be, doesn't need to be viewed everytime you make a new character, it just takes too long >_<. Edited November 17, 2011 by NeroAkira
ignisnocturna Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 pretty sure this already exists. Just search the files ;)
MrTastix Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I voted no because it's a colossal waste of time. Here's why: There is no need for a mod to add the ability to skip the intro or remove it entirely. If you want to skip the intro, simply go into your Skyrim installation directly (you'll find this in your Steam folder, in /SteamApps/common), go into the Data folder (the same folder you would install mods into) and then into the Video folder. In this folder you'll find a file called "BGS_Logo.bik". Rename this file to anything you like, or delete it, and ta-da, your intro movie is gone!
NeroAkira Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 im talking about when you make a new character bros, it sends you on the carriage, please atleast attempt to read my posts fully  :wallbash:
NeroAkira Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 you cant tell me no one wants to see a mod that skips that carriage ride at the beginning and goes straight to the character customization screen
RhinBeoulve Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Every time you start a new character and sit through that carriage ride, Skyrim automatically creates a save immediately before character creation. All you need to do is NOT save over that particular file and keep it stored away for whenever you create a new character.
