fallotmetabolic
As i remember road pieces are in some big building mod like Ssex but you'll need to put them all manually which is insane =0. Maybe it's possible to restore them through console commands but you need to know id of every piece...So basically just load a previous save and always do one before scrapping ;D
bben46
Unfortunately scrapping doesn't have a much needed undo function. The ONLY solution is to go back to a previous save and losing all the work up to that point. :wallbash:
Ryansmavs
I had this same problem it's a relatively eat fix man, go into the Creation Kit got to the Sanctuary Exterior cell highlight the road pieces that you deleted (hold L-Control if it's more than one piece) in-game right click and duplicate then save as 'Roadfix' or something similar, then when in your mod menu activate the mod called 'Roadfix' or whatever you decide to name the file you made in the Creation kit. Pretty simple, it's easy but if you want I'll send you the mod file over steam hit me up my names ReaperWillRise.
VaporWatch
I can't tell yo how many times I've done the same thing. What I've found is this. If the piece of road you scrapped is unique (i.e. the 3-way fork in Sanctuary), you'll have to use Ryansmavs fix. If the piece of road you scrapped is available anywhere else in your game, you can do the following. 1: Make sure you're using "Place Anywhere" and have the Place.ini configured to allow duplicate items and all the other settings are default.2: Go to an earlier save where the scrapped road piece still exists, go into workshop mode, highlight the piece of road you scrapped in your save, and click the = button to save parameters. (do not hit = again until after the final step or you will lose the stored parameters)3: Go back to your current save without restarting your game. Find a piece of road that's the same as the scrapped section, highlight it in workshop mode, and hit \ to copy it.4: Select the copied road piece and walk to near your missing road and drop the copied road close to this area.5: Highlight the copied road in workshop mode and hit the keyboard 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 (make sure the road piece stays highlighted). This should settle the road piece to the exact location as the original. This seems like a lot of steps but I can get this done in about 2 or 3 minutes. If this doesn't work, you'll have to use the method from Ryansmavs.
N0madS0uL
I did the same thing, managed to get the road back by typing help "sanctuary road" 0 or something like that. Got the list of road pieces and I got the piece that was missing, but I could never fit it neatly down, still very close to the same. Here is the kicker though, I though I was in the clear and all is good, saved and played some hours. Just to see later on that my companions or followers dont want to walk on that road...when i removed it and it was bare ground they had no issue, I opted to just put concrete down and build something simple...its not the same but I am not bothered anymore. Golden rule SAVE OFTEN and reload your game and just do those few things again...it could have been worse ^
Straga27
I had this same problem it's a relatively eat fix man, go into the Creation Kit got to the Sanctuary Exterior cell highlight the road pieces that you deleted (hold L-Control if it's more than one piece) in-game right click and duplicate then save as 'Roadfix' or something similar, then when in your mod menu activate the mod called 'Roadfix' or whatever you decide to name the file you made in the Creation kit. Pretty simple, it's easy but if you want I'll send you the mod file over steam hit me up my names ReaperWillRise. This is an excellent way to fix the problem. It took a bit of fiddling and staring in horror at an unfamiliar interface as I had never used the Creation Kit before, but I managed create a .esp with a duplicate Sanctuary Road piece and it works fantastically. It was really annoying for me as I had been spending time clearing the junk out of Sanctuary in build mode, so I wasnt in my Pipboy to allow the game to autosave.I had gone through almost the entire place and was almost finished before I deleted a road instead of a grass mound and my last autosave was an hour previous where I had just started the process. An undo button mod for scrapping would be a very good idea.
damanding
A good rule of thumb when going through your settlement and doing lots of scrapping using a scrap mod that scraps more than vanilla is to exit workshop mode every 5-10 minutes and quicksave.
