Lutine
Would it be possible to separate the armor and clothing?Having everything mashed into one is really annoying and leaves room for little customization. :wallbash: I have a gut feeling there's nothing that can be done, but I'm hopeful. doddibot
Yeah, the Morrowind system was great. Could wear a robe over the top of your steel cuirass, could wear mismatching pauldrons...sigh
Hauntyou
Its possible with little effort as soon as the new Niftools for skyrim come out.But right now they are still developing these tools. so you need to wait a bit more
Lutine
Niftools may change the meshes, but Skyrim will still only be limited to only the body, helm, boots, and gloves...
KillerHappyFace
Niftools may change the meshes, but Skyrim will still only be limited to only the body, helm, boots, and gloves... In FO:NV there were mods just like this despite the game's limitation to only helmet and armor slots. Modders got around it by making a new slot system. Default armors would interact properly only with other default armors however; a full suit of power armor would not dequip, say, an added-in breastplate when worn. Thumbs up to this concept! As a 3rd person player, I was always wondering how my dark elf wasn't getting horribly frostbitten when wearing those sleeveless armors. We need armor sets that bring more options! Above all else, we need shirts! (and in some cases, pants too)
