Infernas14 Posted June 25, 2016 Share Posted June 25, 2016 I always tend to play a thief character who steals anything that isn't nailed down, but as a player it's kind of hard to justify stealing everything you see, which made me wonder if it would be possible to create a mod for kleptomaniac characters to give a bit more incentive to steal everything you can. I was thinking of something similar to a needs mod like RND or iNeed but for stealing, so if the player hasn't stolen anything in 24 hours for example, they get a small debuff to simulate that need to steal. Another idea I had was some sort of system to increase the value of stolen items, perhaps after a certain amount or value of items has been stolen the player receives an effect like slightly higher prices with fences or better chance to find gold or valuables. I think the Imperial race and the Thieves Guild give similar effects at some point, maybe that could be used? Frankly I have no clue how to even start this sort of thing, the extent of my computer knowledge is using file explorer, so if anyone would take this up I'll help in whatever way I can but I can't say I'll be competent.
