Annoying chirping birds

Where to start. I fired up Fallout 4 for the first time in weeks today, after the new DLC was installed. In my save, I was at the Starlight Drive-in. I fast traveled to Sanctuary, and was assaulted by high-pitched, extremely loud chirping birds.

Now, I know the now-defunct Resurrection mod had sound files that added this sort of thing, and while I do have Res installed, I deleted all of the sound files that came with it. I haven't heard any of them in quite a while. The only thing different between my last save and this current load is the official Construction DLC. Please tell me they didn't add this s#*! to the game, I'm going to rip my hair out.

I've gone through the sound folder in the Data directory, and the only files I have there are for mods I can match them to. Mostly Radio and Weapons. No environment sounds at all.

Anyone have any idea where this garbage is coming from, and how I can remove it?

Here is my current mod list:

Hi,

This issue seems to stem from Resmod.esp.

I will have a look and see if there is a way to remove the sounds from the esp.

Ok, i removed the "AmbSoundJungle" sound file from the mod, and this seems to have fixed it for me.

I suggest making a copy of the ESP and removing this to see if it works for you, i used 7Zip to unpack and repack the mod.

Best of luck!

I'm having the same issue as endersblade, although I'm not exactly sure what you mean. How did you unpack an .esp file?
