SwagDaddyOrphan
Hello all. I recently upgraded to a ssd and since haven't been able to get the Creation Kit to actually load on the new drive. I can install the Beth.net launcher, install the CK and click the play button. It acts like it wants to load just for a second, and then I get the error message "Unable to complete first time set up" blah blah that message. Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I've tried multiple installs, reinstalling the launcher, anything I can think of. Couldn't find a good forum post about it, so perhaps this may be a fresh breath of air on the issue. I am on Windows 10, Gtx 960, FX 8300, 850 Evo. Like I said, I had it working on my regular hard drive before the upgrade a week or two ago. I wanted to work on my mod again and couldn't get it to run right. Thanks for any support on the issue.
Terallis
I'm getting the same error, as well, when running it through the Bethesda Launcher. The way I've managed to get around that is to navigate directly to where you have the Creation Kit installed. It seems to work just fine when starting it from there. But it really doesn't seem to like starting from the Bethesda Launcher. As an added thing, also start the program as Administrator. Not sure if it makes a huge difference, though. But yeah. This at least appears to be a workaround for whatever is causing this issue.
Trosski
I have also seen people say that they had to uninstall their Visual c++ 2015 redistributable, and rerun the CK install.
