Third person takes you out of the experience a bit and, in my opinion, lessens the effect of the whole werewolf idea. No third person at all. I don't remember if Bloodmoon had a transformation animation (I think you just hallucinate and wake up a werewolf), but it certainly had first person werewolf animations. That would be best, but I imagine it would be very difficult to mod feeding in first person and not have it look awful. But who knows, I'm always surprised by how impressive the modding community is at what they do.
