The Elder Races of Mer

Alright so bear with me, this is moreso just a discussion point for the time being. Anyone is welcome to use any idea in this thread for their own mod, etc.

So I was in deep discussion with my friends and brothers at a Skyrim LAN this weekend, and we were discussing the lore of the Mer (I had to explain to my brother the entire story of the Mer basically). As I played through Skyrim, I discovered myself becoming fascinated with the Falmer in the way I was formerly fascinated with the Dwemer in Morrowind. It led me to laying out some designs for what the Falmer would be if they became a playable race.

So today as I sat at work I began jotting down notes, doing some research, and tons of reading in my downtime. So far I've begun forging the basics for a design for the Dwemer, Falmer, and possibly Chimer or Maormer races. These are notes I'd like to do someday (but I highly question my own skill and capabilities compared to some of the more gifted modcrafters). So I'll leave these notes completely open to be used for anyone, I'm not going to rip on someone for using them word for word for their own mod, etc.

Please comment, discuss, suggest, etc. it makes things a lot more enjoyable and helps refine the general ideas into a more polished product.

If you need help with it when the CS releases, I could give you a hand. good learning experience. Just need to find out how to make a custom race fix like Oblivion has as well for the guy saying where to send your remains at the start of the game.

I'd be greatly appreciative.

I have some experience with Oblivion/Morrowind Modding, and some Fallout 3, so I'm hoping this won't be too bad comparatively.
